DURAVET Injection 500 is a human prescription injectable medicine containing 17-alpha hydroxyprogesterone caproate 500 mg. The promotional material presents it for progesterone support in selected reproductive and menstrual conditions, including infertility support, luteal phase defects, threatened or recurrent abortion associated with luteal insufficiency, oocyte donation programmes, menstrual irregularities, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, hormone replacement therapy and premenstrual syndrome. The product is supplied as a 2 ml ampoule for intramuscular use. Use only under the direction of a registered medical practitioner.
